E.E. Mofdal a@a.com
One of the challenges facing the world in the 21st century is the availability of sustainable and relatively cost-effective renewable energy sources that has lower negative impacts on the environment than fossil fuels. The improvement in human living conditions and world population increase have resulted in high usage and demand of energy. Most of the energy used in the world today is produced from fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas, and coal. The drawbacks of fossil fuel energy include limited stock, environmental pollution, global warming associated with the burning of fossil fuels. The stable increases in the greenhouse’s gases, in particular, CO2 and their contribution to global warming creates a serious concern about the use of fossil fuel and its impact on the environment. This study aims to select suitable sites for wind energy farms in the Qassim region using the integration of Multi-Criteria for Decision Analysis (MCDA) Multi-criteria evaluation. The data used in this study was wind speed and direction, Digital Elevation model, distance from settlements, distance from roads, railways, drainage, land slope, and land uses. The data distances from these features were ranked and weighted. By superimposing these weights, the Model Builder has been built, deriving a map representing the most suitable locations for wind energy in Qassim. The results indicated that the most suitable sites with minimum impacts to the environment, society, and economy as well as conforming with the regulations and generally accepted by the public. The areas that covered with final land suitability index were 98580376.11 km2(14,7%) for Suitable, 61344715.51 km2 (9,1) for very Suitable, 607844.9908 km2(0.1%) for extreme Suitable and 2557421.399 km2 (0.4) for Less Suitable. Results showed that northern part of Qassim region has potential for building wind turbine farm. It is recommended to use suitability model by decision-makers in the plans of energy development.
2024-04-15T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://migrationletters.com/index.php/ml/article/view/10074 Prevalence And Distribution of Dental Anomalies Among Adult Population at Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia 2024-04-21T08:56:00+03:00 Ibrahim Khalid Surayhid, Ayidh Muflih AlQahatni, Abdullah Ali Almatrudi, Fahad Alhussain ALzahrani, Faisal Hamad A Alyahya, Essa Ali Hattan a@a.com
Background: Disturbance in the embryological stage during development of teeth can lead to dental anomalies. Although its members were not part of the police force, it was under the direct authority of the Minister of Interior. The Saudi regulator introduced several amendments to the law of the Bureau of Investigation and Public Prosecution, shaping its legal status under the new name of the Public Prosecution with different powers and affiliations. In this paper, the researchers examine the law of the Public Prosecution to determine its legal status according to the latest legal amendments and compare it in some key points with the legal status of the Public Prosecution in comparative law. The main question that this work seeks to answer is: What is the legal status of the public prosecution in Saudi law? The paper demonstrates that with the recent amendments to the law, the Public Prosecution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considered as a responsible judicial authority directly attached to the King in his capacity as the Head of State.
2024-04-15T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://migrationletters.com/index.php/ml/article/view/10076 Market Sustainability towards Global and Local Consumer Culture – Perspective of Retail Sector in Saudi Arabia: A Systematic Literature Review 2024-04-21T09:00:01+03:00 Dr. Abrar Alhomaid a@a.com
The interaction of global and local consumer cultures, particularly in rapidly changing markets in Saudi Arabia's retail sector, is critical to understanding market sustainability. Bringing attention to these remarkable women in the hopes that we learn from their experiences helps us better grasp the balancing act of business and family life. Using Kimberlé Crenshaw's concept of intersectionality, we investigate how Peshawar's mopreneurs' experiences are shaped by their gender, parenting, marital status, and socioeconomic level. We relied on in-depth qualitative phenomenological interviews to get to the bottom of these women's real-life experiences. The following seven themes emerged from the investigation: navigating financial independence, balancing roles and identities, intersectional challenges, societal expectations and support, identity and empowerment, resilience and determination, and flexible work schedules. Despite the many challenges faced by mompreneurs in Peshawar, our research emphasizes the intricate nature of this entrepreneurial endeavor. However, we need more comprehensive theories of identity and motivation to help us make sense of the myriad factors that contribute to and hinder their success. Examining mompreneurship in the specific social and cultural context of Peshawar, Pakistan, this study provides valuable insights. It also highlights the importance of thoroughly looking into Pakistan and South Asia. Ultimately, we hope our findings will help direct future research on mompreneurship and fill in the gaps in the existing literature.
2024-04-15T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://migrationletters.com/index.php/ml/article/view/10081 Migration and the Orthodox Family: Reflections on Declining Solidarity and Weakening Family Ties in Contemporary Nigeria 2024-04-22T07:13:47+03:00 Kenechukwu Nwakego Anugwom a@a.com
Using information gathered from a systematic desk review the paper examined the relationship between migration and the family based on the the fact that such movement has become part of life in Nigeria given the level of economic hardship that has befallen Nigerians in the recent past.. The high level of international migration even though often supported actively by families of migrants has ironically affected the family as a traditionally close knit social unit. As the paper argues, migration has eroded family solidarity and weakened family ties in Nigeria. Therefore, the paper argues for improvements in economic opportunities in Nigeria in order to curb unnecessary migration and the repositioning of the family to tackle the new challenges imposed by migration of members.
2024-04-15T00:00:00+03:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://migrationletters.com/index.php/ml/article/view/10082 The Role of Human Capital and Lecturer Career Motivation in Career Success 2024-04-22T07:15:18+03:00 Anita Kartika Sari a@a.com Indrianawati Usman bbcsdpub@gmail.com Praptini Yulianti bbcsdpub@gmail.com
This quantitative study seeks to deepen understanding of the complex relationship between human resources, career motivation, and career success among lecturers in Indonesia.
