Abstract

Research purposes This is to know Islamic moderation challenges and opportunities for resurrection civilization Islam in Southeast Asia. The method used is a qualitative study. This type of research is library research, which researchers carry out by collecting, studying and analyzing references or sources obtained in written form, such as books, journals, articles, documents and other significant sources of information with the topic or title. researched. And then the researcher analyzes and draws conclusions to find answers to what the researcher is studying. Research result This concludes that Islamic moderation has a crucial role in facing challenges and exploiting opportunities for the resurrection of Islamic civilization in Southeast Asia. Findings of the study show that Islamic moderation can become effective in muffle radicalism, strengthening international cooperation, and building a foundation for inclusive and sustainable development in the region. However, implementation of Islamic moderation in Southeast Asia is still faced with a number of challenges, including influence movement radicals, tension inter-religious and inter-ethnic, and a lack of deep understanding of the values of Islamic moderation.
