Netizens Become Political Buzzers As An Act Of Retribution

Abstract

This research aims to determine netizens appreciation for Padang legislators who have used social media. The research results show that the reason netizens gave positive appreciation to Padang legislators who had used social media is because, first, Padang legislators had used social media as a channel for aspirations. Second, the response of Padang legislatator in responding to community problems were faster than meeting directly. Apart from that, what were interesting about netizens appreciation of the legislators who had used social media was the emergence of political buzzers from netizens for council members. The presence of this buzzer was because netizens feel that the Padang legislators have fought for and realized netizens interests.
