Traffic Regulation Comprehension of the Parking Attendant in Denpasar Utara

Parking is defined as a condition of a vehicle that is entrusted by the owner to a second party in a place and does not experience a change of location and lasts for a while. Parking facilities are needed to avoid regulatory errors that usually occur, for example using the road as a place to park vehicles. Regulation of parking lots aims to avoid traffic jams or accidents. In the realm of parking, it is necessary to have a parking attendant to manage vehicles entering and leaving the location and to manage the traffic. Based on data analysis from questionnaires that were distributed to 29 respondents, it was found that 42% indicated that the respondents understood traffic rules, 85% indicated that the respondents were very familiar with traffic signs, 36% indicated that the respondents were very familiar with parking regulations, and 64% indicated that respondents were highly comprehending the duties of parking attendants. However, there are still many parking attendants who do not know the traffic regulations. As a result, it could trouble traffic activities which potentially leads to traffic jams or accidents.
