This situated and contextualized approach to institutions and the higher education sector beyond the indicators of access, permanence and graduation, is part of the study Mediations from educommunication, towards a culture of equity: languages and narratives in the context of higher education of the Tecnológico de Antioquia, University Institutionwhich reflects on the characterization of communicative processes as a necessity to look head-on at the place of subjects in terms of equity and inclusion and recognize participation, democratization and dialogicity as alternative possibilities towards empowerment and the construction of meanings in education.
