The Relationship Between Cultural Adaptability And Entrepreneurial Success Of Emerging Entrepreneurs: An Analysis Of Mediating And Moderating Influences
Abstract
Cultural adaptability is a key strategic requirement for emerging entrepreneurs in Pakistan. Drawing on Social Capital Theory, Cultural Intelligence Theory, and Behavioral Reasoning Theory (BRT), this study uses a moderated mediation model to examine how cultural adaptability influences entrepreneurial success, with entrepreneurial behavior acting as a mediator and entrepreneurial passion as a moderator. Data were collected from 330 entrepreneurs in Pakistan. [1]The findings show that cultural adaptability is positively and significantly related to both entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial success, while entrepreneurial behavior also strongly contributes to entrepreneurial success. Additionally, the relationship between cultural adaptability and entrepreneurial success is partially mediated by entrepreneurial behavior. The connection between entrepreneurial behavior and entrepreneurial success is further strengthened by entrepreneurial passion, which also conditionally increases the indirect impact of cultural adaptability on success through entrepreneurial behavior. Overall, the study indicates that emerging entrepreneurs in Pakistan can greatly increase their chances of success by embracing cultural adaptability, entrepreneurial behavior, and entrepreneurial passion.
