Impact Of Linguistic Patterns In Whatsapp Communication

This work explores the impact of linguistic specimen on communication productiveness in WhatsApp. Using a mixed-method approach, the researchers surveyed the use of interactional markers, word orders, arrangements and semantic explication ambivalence in WhatsApp communication. The study analyzed a corpus of WhatsApp messages. The corpus of WhatsApp messages[1] was collected from a group of 50 participants, who were asked to share their WhatsApp conversations with the researchers. For data collection these chats were analyzed to find the use of pragmatic markers, syntactic structures, and semantic ambiguity in these messages. The study finds total 150 pragmatic, syntactic and semantic markers; and these findings show that the language producing patterns significantly influence message coherence, and convincing and comprehending in WhatsApp communication. Practical markers enhance message vividness, while syntax, sentence structures and lexical ambiguity can lead to misunderstandings. The study provides insights into the role of linguistic designs in forming communication net results in WhatsApp and has hints for constructive communication in digital ecosystem.
