The inequality divides human beings between a degraded Earth and an orbital habitat for the wealthy. This article analysis film as a method for depicting futures acquiring sustainability. To link dramatization of themes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the analysis of the study highlights crucial lessons for social, economic, and environmental sustainability. Elysium illuminates global challenges such as governance failure, inequity, sophisticated technology and it also offers insights relevant [1]to low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) including Pakistan. Using the film as a cautionary tale underscoring the importance of cultural texts to shape public imagination, to guide inclusive policy designs, and to reinforce sustainability. In the research article Elysium (2013) is analyzed by using the lens of Society 5.0, as the Japanese government with the cooperation of the private sector has devised a new strategy of Society 5.0 in 2020. The Society 5.0 promises sustainable, human-centered, inclusive society integrating the physical space with cyberspace. The article qualitatively explains the promises of Society 5.0 and the disastrous effects of neglecting the maxim of equality in it. Catherine Belsey’s approach of thematic analysis is applied by method of familiarization in analyzing the movie. The study serves as a cautionary tale to avoid the present exploitation of nature and the future need of equality in applying the smart technology in Society 5.0.  The article concludes by finding the solution of human survival and growth that lies in technology if it is used inclusively for sustainable growth of all irrespective of their social status.
