Abstract

There is no denying the fact that the COVID-19 pandemic and its rapid prevalence has had a profound impact on global mental health, with behaviour disorders emerging as a significant concern. This research attempts to comprehensively explore[1] the social and psychological factors that contribute to the manifestation and exacerbation of behaviour disorders in the post-COVID-19 era. Numerous aspects, or ramifications, as a result of the pandemic that range from societal changes induced by the COVID-19 and exacerbation of behaviour disorders at the individual level, to demographic variables, encompassing age, socioeconomic status, and cultural backgrounds that have influenced the manifestation and trajectory of behaviour disorders in the diverse post-COVID-19 world are thoroughly examined. By employing a secondary qualitative research design by utilizing a systematic literature review method as the primary method of data analysis, this research offers practical recommendations for the design of targeted interventions and support mechanisms that can meaningfully address the behaviour disorders emerging in the wake of this unprecedented global crisis.
