Urdu Autobiography: An Evolutionary Analysis
Abstract
Aap Beti is an important genre of Urdu literature through which the author describes his life experiences, feelings, and circumstances.[1] It not only presents the story of the author's personal life but also reflects the social, societal, and historical conditions of that time. Aap Beti is a writing in which the author presents the circumstances, experiences, and past events of his life in a literary style. It is the author's personal story that exposes the readers to various aspects of his life.
In Aap Beti, the author describes important events of his life, such as childhood, education, career, difficulties, and successes.
The author's Aap Beti should also include a reflection of the social, economic, and political conditions of that time. This makes Aap Beti a historical document, rather than a mere story of personal experiences.
The author should describe his events with honesty so as to present a true and realistic picture to the reader.
The language used in an autobiography should be simple, attractive, and fluent so that the reader can easily understand it. Many famous writers in Urdu literature have written their autobiographies, which not only cover their personal lives but also reflect the conditions of the time. This article is written about the Autobiography.
