Exploring Common False Beliefs In Peshawar, Pakistan Through A Novel Analytical Approach

Abstract

The main focus of the study is to judge various false beliefs in the Pakistan. New methods are being proposed. To know that which false beliefs are preferred the most common, this study was conducted.  Data were collected from 356 individuals in Peshawar, using convenient sampling technique. The proportion of female is more than male. There were 226 females and 130 males. The average age of[1] male is 34 and the average age of female is 31. Preliminary analysis was done on the data. This results in significant differences among false beliefs of male and female, educated and uneducated, married and unmarried etc.

      For the analysis of qualitative data, new techniques were developed and applied on the collected data, which results a significant difference among the beliefs of male and female.

In the new developed technique, namely Q-test, results in higher values. This concludes that some false beliefs are more common than the others among people. For the performance of the test, simulation was done.
