Abstract

This review explores healthcare quality and accessibility in the Qassim region of Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the region’s healthcare initiatives, achievements, and persistent challenges. The Qassim region serves as a critical case study for understanding the implementation of national healthcare strategies under Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Through an analysis of regional policies, infrastructure development, and public health programs, this manuscript highlights the strides made in improving healthcare delivery while also identifying areas requiring attention. Persistent challenges such as rural healthcare disparities, workforce shortages, and limited public health literacy are examined in detail. The review highlights the critical need to overcome barriers in healthcare delivery to establish a more equitable and efficient system.
