Abstract

The impact of higher education on female socio-economic adjustment and empowerment has become a subject of increasing interest in academic research and policy discussions. The advancement of women through education is a key driver of socio-economic change in society. This paper explores how higher education influences women's socio-economic status, autonomy, and empowerment in diverse contexts. By reviewing relevant literature and research, the paper outlines the ways in which education enhances women’s socio-economic mobility, challenges traditional gender norms, and contributes to long-term societal development. It also examines barriers that hinder women from accessing higher education and suggests strategies to overcome them.
