The Empirical Analysis of Green HRM on Green Organizational Performance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sindh: The Mediating Role of Green Culture
Abstract
This study examines the performance of environmentally sustainable SMEs in Sindh, Pakistan, in relation to Green HRM practices. This research utilizes green organizational culture as a mediating variable. A survey employing quantitative methods and conventional questionnaires was conducted with human resource managers at 250 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). We employed Smart-PLS to assess measurement and structural models utilizing Partial Least Squares (PLS). The measurement methodologies were dependable and accurate for green remuneration, performance management, recruitment, training, and organizational performance. Green human resource management strategies cultivate an environmentally conscious organizational culture, hence enhancing corporate performance. Green culture oversaw the majority of HRM connections, excluding training and development. The findings can assist SMEs in emerging economies in adopting environmentally sustainable practices via green human resource management and culture. To enhance the green organizational culture, managers of Sindh SMEs should incorporate environmental considerations into performance evaluations. Incorporate practical workshops to enhance sustainability training.
