Abstract

This paper discusses the voting patterns of the EU member states and subsequent reasons for their unique voting styles. To examine the rationale of members’ voting trends, [1]the examples of Denmark and Sweden are used and conclusions are drawn on the basis of empirical data provided by the aforementioned states. It intends to examine the impact of imposition of anti-dumping (AD) duties on scale of imports from Pakistan. In this respect, conclusions are drawn on the basis of data extracted from the Eurostat website. Instead of analysis of impact of anti-dumping duty (ADD) on overall imports from Pakistan to EU, this paper precisely evaluates and compares the level of imports (of those particular products which have been subject to duty only) before and after the imposition of duty.
