Transformational Leadership And Its Relationship With Administrative Innovation In Higher Education Institutions
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to highlight the significant impact of transformational leadership on administrative innovation in higher education institutions, and to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and administrative innovation from the perspectives of faculty members and administrators at a four-year higher [1]education institution. Data were collected from 336 faculty members and administrators working at a public university in Saudi Arabia. The results reveal that transformational leadership has a significant influence on the leaders at the four-year higher education institution under study. Moreover, the results suggest that transformational leadership has important effects on innovation at the individual level. The results are discussed and recommendations are made based on the data analysis and conclusion.
