The findings have been derived from primary field research through qualitative tools,[1] and a thorough analysis of the literature has been made to investigate the impact of migration on the economic advancement of the local community. However, field data was gathered through in-depth interviews conducted with 20 local immigrants using the purposive sampling technique along with observation. The findings of the study show numerous aspects of migration and economic development, such as the reduction of poverty, increase in family income, growth in local investment, children's education, and family well-being which are mostly supported by the field data and literature.
