Innovations In Saudi Healthcare: A Vision 2030 Perspective
Abstract
Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative outlines ambitious goals for the transformation of its healthcare system, emphasizing innovation as a key driver of progress. This paper examines the landscape of healthcare innovation within the context of Vision 2030, drawing insights from a range of qualitative and quantitative studies.
The impact of Vision 2030 on the Saudi healthcare system is explored through the lens of Alshahrani, A. M., Alshahrani, S. M., & Alshahrani, A. M. (2019) and Alzahrani, A. M., & Alghamdi, A. A. (2017), providing a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities presented by this transformative agenda. Additionally, the role of environmental sustainability in achieving Vision 2030 goals is discussed, as articulated by Alshuwaikhat, H. M., & Abubakar, I. (2018).
Innovations in healthcare delivery are scrutinized through the works of Alzahrani, A. M., & Alghamdi, A. A. (2015a) and Alzahrani, A. M., & Alghamdi, A. A. (2015b), which highlight initiatives and quality improvement strategies aligned with Vis[1]ion 2030 objectives. Furthermore, the adoption of telemedicine and e-health as transformative technologies in Saudi Arabia is assessed, as detailed by Alzahrani, A. M., & Alghamdi, A. A. (2015c) and Alzahrani, A. M., & Alghamdi, A. A. (2015d).
Lastly, a framework for securing the Saudi Arabian hospital industry within the Vision 2030 framework is presented, offering strategic insights into safeguarding the future of healthcare in the kingdom (Alhakami et al., 2022). This paper contributes to the ongoing discourse on healthcare innovation in Saudi Arabia and underscores the importance of leveraging technological advancements to realize Vision 2030 objectives.
